Basically, I can only play the original Dink and mystery island of the Dink games I have. Milli Vanilli nor my upcoming D-MOD spike will work. Here's the probbie...

I load the faulty game, it shows the loading screen, crashes, returns to Dink. I've re-booted, got DirectX upgrades, got Dink upgrades, even re-installed Dink. I'm targetting this mostly towards Seth and I need an answer QUICKLY!

Hmm, I can't think of any problem really because Mystery Island is a DMOD really, so if Dink and that work.. not sure. Maybe try a few more dmods out, if they work maybe your and Milli are screwed up somehow?

It's cool, I switched on my backup brain, and it was all to do with the beginning sounds on the title screen. Basically, if you forget to put the .wav in the sound directory, and try and play the .wav that isn't there it all screws up. Milli uses a .wav on the title screen same as my D-MOD. It's all cool now and I can continue Dinking, thanks anyway dude!
