Question about copy-paste

I'm going through the tutorials and i'm at the point where i copy and paste some barrels, switch to the game have dink punch them and then back into the editor. Only problem is that red paste box is still there, and I don't know how to turn it off (discard the clipboard item or whatever).

How do I do that.

BTW there are some little spelling errors, if you want I can go through them and give you a list, before you actually get to opening this up publicly.

If you click a blank space, (so nothing is selected) and then press Ctrl-C to copy, the copy buffer will be cleared. (I'll add that into the tutorial...)
