First Roadblock

Hey.

I just downloaded Novashell and whenever I start it, I get a popup that says "The graphics mode is not supported." and the program immediately ends.

I'm running Windows XP, screen size 1024x768, 24-bit color (dropping down to 16-bit did nothing and it actually won't let me go do 256-color. It isn't available as an option).

I'm hoping this is just a simple misunderstanding I can clear up in two or three clicks, but I'm going to bet that it isn't.

The default resolution it tries to use is 32 bit 1024X768. Perhaps your card can't handle that? (If windows doesn't offer it as a desktop res, this is probably the problem)

You might try adding the -window parm or -res 800 600 for a smaller resolution.

I should really have it show a message and perhaps do this automatically...

Yeah, 32-bit isn't an option for me either. This computer's like five years old and it isn't a gaming PC by any stretch of the imagination. I should finally go get more RAM before I try anything.
