Why don't you compile or whatever the source into a self-install for us who are incapable of understanding that stuff? I mean if ya did it for that shooting beer cans thing you can do it for this right?

Hi, Novashell is already packed up into a full installer for Windows and OSX at http://www.rtsoft.com/novashell. The beer can game is just one of the examples it comes with.

The source code/SVN stuff is just for people who like peeking at that end of it, not required.
