Game.exe crash

Hey boys.

im having problems starting novashell, when i click on start i get a blackscreen, then a white then windows says the program crashed.

"AppName: game.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: dinput8.dll
ModVer: 5.3.2600.2180 Offset: 00016324"

i would realy like to have some help with this.

im currently running Windows Xp.

when i try "C:\Program\Novashell\game.exe" -windowed -res 1024 768

i get an icon on the startmenu that shows a program icon. after a while it dies out.

any ideas on this?.. (ive also tryed 800 x 600)

Hrm

I don't think this is an issue with novashell but something on your system - If you have a USB HD or a Motorolo IMFree attached, try removing them.

For some reason it looks like that creates a driver conflict with directInput.
