Largest changes since 2.0.1:
- New (revived) display target: SDL
- New example: GUICustomComponent (game-gui)
- New example: PostProcessing (using shaders)

Download source packages (http://clanlib.org/download.html), or precompiled win32 libraries (http://clanlib.org/download-binaries-win32-vc80.html).

Wow. This SDK seems to have really come alive in 2009. Cool. I spent the last year or so looking at version 0.8 and 0.9. I stayed away from this tantalizing kit because I thought it seemed dead. Apart from being unfinished and looking dead, I always considered this kit to be the best - pound for pound, and, now that it's alive and well, I'm in!

I'd like to extend my kudos to the hard working Clan that put this Lib together. Keep up the good work!

In my opinion, all that's needed now is a better website and some tutorials/documentation so that new visitors can fully experience the awesomeness! I never liked the downloads page...there's too much there and makes the Lib seem a little ...messy... I guess. It might be nice, since the SDK is a heavy weight, to provide a simple on click deal, with a setup.exe to take care of all the minutia.

Anyway, sorry to ramble - I didn't mean to fill up your suggestion box!

Thanks NovaLaw. We're actually been busy all along, we just never did any releases :)

I totally agree on your points, though. We lack documentation and the download page is very messy. I did some small changes now on 2.0.2 - the precompiled libs is a single download.

But alot more could be done, we just need some volunteers to help us out :)

I'd volunteer my services, except all I can do is C/C++ program. Time has been short lately, but I should have a pile of free time coming up soon.
I never fancied myself as a tutorial writer, but for this SDK any tut is better than no tut. So let me know if you have something specific in mind. I'd sure give it my best shot.
As for the web page goes, I've never done anything like it, but I've always wanted to learn. I'd need a software recommendation and a good Idiots guide. But again I'd give it my best shot.

...I'll help, if you help me help you...!?

I'd love to help, but not sure how :) Why don't you join us on IRC (http://clanlib.org/development.html) one day, and we can talk about how to get you started :)

Ok!: For starters you can help me get those links work!!! I hit your link to IRC, but the resulting page is a dud for me (on Google Chrome?). Even the SVN's (which I was trying to locate earlier) are dead.

Well, you need an irc client to connect to irc. There are a plethora of those available, the more common is mIrc (http://www.mirc.com/), but you could also try out the CTalk example in ClanLib - which connects to IRC :)

You could also use a webclient like Mibbit (http://www.mibbit.com/chat/).
