I used Gamemaker 7 so many years ago.

I've been using game maker since 6.0 and I got all ports with gm studio.

Ask your questions before replies though.

Im having this issue with sprites where its making the bottom left pixel's color the color that is also transparent, and its making my tileset very ugly looking, as I have to have the bottom left pixel some random color and it doesnt show up. Is there anyway to fix this?

I'm suprised you're getting transparency to work at all on the mac export.
Anyway what's the origin of the sprite along with width/height? Also Are you using the brush with full opacity when drawing?
It'd help a bit if you could take some screenshots.

I've tried using Gamemaker once never got to understand it.
I recommend just using Unity as there are many tutorials out there.

Bottom left pixel chooses what color is "transparent" on the sprite. Ive tileset-ed a small room to show you what I mean when i say "it looks bad."

I've used previous Game Makers but not 7. I might get it soon, looks neat!

If it doesn't let you draw over it, it's a game maker mac bug and you should use an emulator of sorts to access gm studio.

Goes both ways as game maker has probably just as many if not more tutorials because of how much longer it's been around with a populated community.
