Please help

I purchased Dink Smallwood back in 97, but whenever I play the game, I get up to the Goblin Sanctuary, kill Mog, he shows me the camp, but nothing happens... I read the walkthrough, and it says there should be an automatic sequence, where Dink sneaks in a hut, but I'm free to run around, and am at a standstill in the game... I've replayed the game up to that part many times, but it happens every time....
Should I just uninstall the game, and download the freeware version?

Hmm, it sounds like you have 1.05... which had a bug similar to that. Installing the freeware version over top of your old version should fix that... you could continue on from where you left off, you don't need to uninstall the old version.
