Addon and dmods???

Yesterday I downloaded the full version of the-best-game-ever-made again(DS 1.06),Cause I have allready finished this one I hoped to maybey find some more cool dmods.But I just cant seem to unpack them in the right map.So it wont start.Also when I start dink edit it pops right back to windows.
What the f**k am i doing wrong?

tried to play d-mods but still dont understand how to get them to work http://www.rtsoft.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/down.gif any chance someone can take the time to type down in steps exactly what i must do and how to do it? i know im being a pain but im really useless when it comes to my pc. please, please, please.
