View Full Version : Building examples with Visual Studio

I've built a few examples with Visual Studio 2012, but in each case I have to edit include and library directories in project settings (Configuration Properties > VC++ Directories > Include Directories). Is there a simpler way to build examples? Does anyone have a VS Solution, which includes all of Examples projects, so they can be built in one step?

EDIT

I found ClanLib\Examples-vc2010.sln solution, which includes all of examples projects, but I don't see a way to setup include and library directories for the whole solution.

EDIT

Here is the solution, if someone needs it later. Go to View > Other Windows > Property Manager and expand the first project in solution: alpha > Release | Win32 > Microsoft.Cpp.Win32.user. Right click on Properties and edit VC++ Directories. Save settings and reload VS2012. Your new directories are now applied to all projects in the solution.

It is also described in the ClanLib setup guide at http://clanlib.org/global-includes-vs2010.html (linked from http://clanlib.org/build-environment-windows-msvc.html)

Thanks. I was just reading it, but I missed Adding Global Include Paths link. Microsoft never stops to annoy users with moving things around their UI for no good reason.
