0% Resistance Bug

When a customer starts out with 0% resistance (no Sympathy or Guilt are required to knock it down), there is a small chance of the customer resisting a sale. Myself, Dukie, and wartortle have all experienced it happening.

Just to clarify, when my 0% resistance customer refused a soft sell item that they could afford, I had used guilt (I think) to bring the resistance down.

I believed Seth did it on purpose. There is always a small 5% uncertainty in various places. PSY 9 doesn't guarantee 100% resistance read. 100% luck doesn't mean you would win the risk events all the time....

Mimi's exactly right. The influence is weighted in such a way that it's only about %95 powerful over controlling it, leaving a 5% element of chance at all times. This could help you, or hurt you.
