Is there such a tool available somewhere? I used to use arrays before.

No such tool exist for Clanlib 2.X as far as I know.

You could try create an editor based on the XML tile map example found here http://www.rtsoft.com/forums/showthread.php?3878-New-TileMap-example

I found an easy way around that a few hours from my post. Thanks for answering though.
