View Full Version : Red Texture... shouldn't be red...

So I've got a PNG texture (same issue occurs with BMP) which has been converted to RTTEX resulting in a red tint in-game whilst the original texture has no (visible) red in it at all...

The conversion command is: for /r %%f in (*.bmp *.png) do ..\%PACK_EXE% -pvrt8888 %%f

I had a fairly similar texture previously, used in exactly the same way (same filepath also) and it didn't suffer from this issue...

I've tried deleting the RTTEX in case there was any reliance on previous versions but that didn't help :s

I've attached the problem texture in case anyone can help out!

More info: This may only happen when used as a background in a OverlayEntity...

I think it's a 2D renderstate issue.... The thought occurred to me that I'm rendering a semi-transparent red rectangle as the last of my render calls and wondered if that was causing it... commenting out that call resulted in a black background when the menu comes on screen... Odd that the change seemed to occur with an update to the texture.. maybe something else got changed around the same time too...
