Hi,
I'm using ClanLib 2.1.2 (because this is the version provided by my Linux distro and that I have been unable to compile/use a more recent version).

I notice that circles with a transparent color are not rendered correctly.
Is that fixed in the last version of ClanLib?

thanks

I don't know, without trying.

ClanLib 2.3.6 is the most stable version of ClanLib on Linux.

(It works in ClanLib 3.0, but that's still under development)

You can try looking at http://clanlib.org/wiki/ClanLib_2.3.6_Release_Notes ... and following the previous release notes links. Maybe something in there.

I've just read the sources of the draw-circle functions in ClanLib-2.1.2 and in ClanLib-2.3.6, the code is the same.

So switching to this more recent version would probably not fix my problem.

Also are the authors aware that drawing circles with a transparent color is bugged ?

The code for the circle function may be the same, but the bug would have been deeper within clanlib internals. A lot changed between ClanLib 2.1 and 2.3 (with reference to handling primitive objects and opengl shaders)

Sorry, I can't check myself. If nobody else has time, it's easy to test yourself. Follow http://clanlib.org/wiki/MainDocs:GNU_C%2B%2B_on_Linux
