Do you know of a good reference book for DirectX? Something that would contain only the required amount of code in order to do something and no extras. Almost like the Java Developer Alminac by Sun Microsystems.

I've bought a few dx books and honestly, sor far, the best thing has been the help file that comes with the SDK. It's a pretty decent resource.
