Thread: Two apps, one window?

    Default Two apps, one window?

Not sure if this question makes sense, but is it possible to have two ClanLib applications running on the same machine, but have them render into the same window? This is on Windows.

    Thanks

Is it openGL or directX or some other level? I have never done something in directX, but it is not thread safe what I understand, the same with openGL. This means that only one thread can draw the gui.

Could it be a good idea to send the objects (and updates of the objects) you want to render to the application responsible for the gui?

Compare with a network game (server + several players) where a player connects to the server and the other players gets aware of that (see the new player) via short objects send with tcp/udp. You can thus implement some protocol for that.

    Have I understood you correct?
