Thread: Clanlib (install) problem: mt-uc

    Question Clanlib (install) problem: _main

Okay, so i've fiddled with clanlib for a bit, and finally understood the readme, however, when i go to test the code, i get
"Error 1 fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file 'clanCore-static-mt-uc-debug.lib' clanlib test"

So i read further and this is with the way clanlib compiles itself or something. I dont have the UC version. I dont think i need the UC version, so in my program how do I compile it so it uses just the non uc one?

In Visual Studio 2008, this setting is available under General->Character Set. Set it to "Not set" to not use unicode.

thanks, got that part fixed, now its saying there's an error with _main:
"Error 9 error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol _main referenced in function ___tmainCRTStartup"

EDIT: Ok, fixed that by changing subsystem from Console to Windows.
