    Smile Beginner Link Error

    Hey, I've just installed ClanLib and I'm having a problem with it.
    I downloaded the Precompiled win32 libraries and using Microsoft VC++ 2008.
    I did everything according to the http://clanlib.org/wiki/MainDocs:Vis...%2B_on_Windows tutorial.

    • Fixed directories for include & lib with win32 platform.

    • In my project's properties I changed the Runtime Library to, Debug->Multi-threaded Debug (/MTd) and Release->Multi-threaded(/MT)

    Still, after trying to debug and run the 'Hello World' program.

    Code:
    #include <ClanLib/core.h>
    #include <ClanLib/application.h>

    class ConsoleProgram
    {
    public:
    	static int main(const std::vector<CL_String> &args)
    	{
    		CL_SetupCore setup_core;
    		CL_ConsoleWindow console_window("Console", 80, 200);

    		CL_String now = CL_DateTime::get_current_local_time().to_short_datetime_string();

    		CL_Console::write_line("At %1, we say Hello ClanLib!", now);
    		CL_Console::wait_for_key();

    		return 0;

    	}
    };

    CL_ClanApplication app(&ConsoleProgram::main);
    I get this link error:

    fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file 'clanCore-static-mt-debug.lib'

    I tried everything I could so far. The precompiled libraries are linked and it debugs it in win32, same as the libaries im using.
    Im out of ideas on how to fix this, appreciate if I could get some help regarding this problem.

    Double check this dialog (Tools/Options/Projects&Solutions/VC++Directories)

    (On my PC, the libs are in C:\Development\VS2008\lib\Win32 )

    Thanks, that fixed the error. Then I had the same zlib error, but that was easy to fix now that I know how to do it correctly.

    Thank you for helping me solve it.

    Everything is working perfect now. Back to programming now then
