    Default Textured rects and images

    Hello all, new user of ClanLib and already spent a fair amount of time digging through whatever information I can find that will be of use. My intentions with ClanLib are to construct a 2D game, which in simple terms is a fancy GUI and is aimed at being a simulation similar to that of Uplink if anyone has heard of it.

    Getting down to the topic title though, i've had some confusion in working out whether or not to use textured rects or images with sprites for the animations? I'm no stranger to programming but, clanLib is new to me and certainly seems like a robust and concise library so I wanted to just confirm a few things.

    I don't think the clanGUI will be of any use as it seems more geared towards practical application rather than what I am intending but I hope I may get some suggestions.

    CL_Sprite supports animations, so it is probably easiest to use that?

    Regarding GUI, it was designed to be both usable in a game GUI and in applications. Take a look at the GUICustomComponent and DiceWars to see some examples.

    This is because the other GUI examples tend to confuse, and need cleaned up

    In my opinion, GUICustomComponent is the best example.
