    Default reference to 'string' is ambiguous

    getting the following errors when trying to use the "string" type in an Irrlicht scene (similar to your example):

    reference to 'string' is ambiguous
    candidates are: template<class T, class TAlloc> class irr::core::string
    typedef struct std::basic_string<char, std::char_traits<char>, std::allocator<char> > std::string
    Is there an alternate type I should use? All I am trying to do is get a string for the base path to load the scene:
    Code:
    string strBasePath = GetBaseAppPath();

    Looks like changing to this fixed it:

    Code:
    std::string strBasePath = GetBaseAppPath();
