Thread: Compile Error

    Default Compile Error

I'm trying to get ClanLib to compile for the first time and I'm getting the error shown below. I have followed the installation instructions completely. Searching the forums, other people had similar problems with the recommendation to change the preprocessor settings. I tried this and got no change. I'm running Windows XP with Visual Studio 2010.

c:\clanlib\include\clanlib\core.h(53): fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'windows.h': No such file or directory

Windows.h is the main header file of the Windows SDK. It is distributed with Visual Studio and for the project files to not be able to find this file either your Visual Studio installation needs to be seriously broken or there is something very wrong with the include search paths.

I don't know use VS2010 myself yet (waiting for the service pack) so I can't really help much further.
