Thread: Using the GPS?

    Default Using the GPS?

Hello all, I'm Raphman! I'm a student, and I was assigned a project to make a little mobile game. I wanted to use GPS as part of my game, and I was wondering if it would be possible to use the Proton SDK to access the GPS of an Android or iOS device. Does anyone know if that is possible? Thanks in advance!

I currently don't have any GPS interfaces... just nothing something I've personally needed yet.

But, it's open source and everything is "right there" so hopefully someone will add a LocationManager class someday.

Then would be a matter of doing the actual GPL calls in the Objective-C part of the code for iOS, or the .java part of the code for Android, etc and use Proton messaging to control it and get the data.

Hm looks like I'll just have to use objective-C then! Who knows, maybe once I've done what I can in it, I'll try and implement it with Proton! Thanks for the quick response!
