The RTsoft forums have been shutdown

Why?

• Activity is near zero, it's a graveyard
• No time to monitor posts and kill botspam that sneaks in
  
• VBulletin 4 has reached end of life and will no longer receive patches making it a security risk
• It's very slow. Our forums had so many posts most admin operations just time-out
• I regularly received requests to delete old posts/accounts. I honored them all but it was time consuming due to the database size

I ran the forums here for eighteen years, end of an era. This feels like the day I finally shut down my BBS because it just wasn't getting enough calls.

We had a good run, thanks for the memories.
