IMPOSSIBLE

Its very possible. If it doesn't hit a major functional part of the brain, the person has a good chance of survival if infection doesn't start. Of course, you should still see a doctor.

The brain stem, and mudella are incredibly important parts of the brain.
It's actually possible to remove half of the brain at birth, and the baby will function normally for the rest of his/her life. (this is because the brain has not fully developed).

Getting shot, at, lets say the left hemisphere, and the bullet does not strike your brain stem or mudella, means you have a chance at surviving. Of course, lets hope the bullet wasn't a hollow point round, or the shrapnel will definitely kill you.

Of course, getting shot in the head (when you're somewhat older) does affect various things, such as personality.

Many people have been shot in the head. One man in particular was shot MULTIPLE times, even once at point-blank range, and survived.
A pipe pierced right through a man's skull, too.
Pretty crazy stuff!

Malala got the nobel peace prize with another guy (sorry cant remember the name :sweatdrop: )
The reason she got it was not because she got shot and survived but because she came up for children who dont have education and are forced to work in a :poop: factory.

this was quite a lot on the news like a year ago though kinda surprises me no one ever heard of this.
