could you make a tutorial about how to make side scroller games like treeworld?

I hope to do one eventually, it should be very small, the only difference is a few special functions of the 2d sideview player brain instead of the topview player brain. Thanks.

hey seth, i did post in another forum (i think was wrong one...) but here's what i was wanting to know

how well does Novashell make side-scrollers LIKE megaman, metroid, ect.

cause i was wanting to make a game somewhat based off of metroid, but in the same aspect, different

like, i'm not including anything from the metroid series, BUT the ideas are based off of aspects of the series

EDIT: and how about multiplayer capabilities!?

The engine could handle that fine, did you try the tree world example? It's a bit similar, although the flexibility of everything is still being tweaked before I write documentation for that part.

Multiplayer: I have no plans for any multiplayer support at the moment, although I've designed the timing/logic systems with that in mind in case I need it later.
