View Full Version : When drawing text, crash while clearing the screen!?

This is a strange one. I wish to draw text to the screen, I have my font resource all set up and everything, but when I try to clear the screen before drawing, it crashes at CL_GLStateChecker::add_clear, of all places. What's going on?

By the way, the Font example runs OK. Do I have to do my drawing in the same scope in which I SetupGL?

Well, it turns out that constructing a SetupGL object like in the examples wasn't such a good idea for the more complicated architecture of my program (a Mike McShaffry-esque "Application/Logic/View" type of thing). Using init() and deinit() solved it.

I just wonder why this wasn't caught before I added my text drawing code.
