Better to just save money for a while for a NICE phone because cheap ones are well, cheap.

Get an iPhone. Now I don't care what people say, iPhones are the best type of phone you can buy.

iPhones are best.

I have never had android but my friends do and they are very complicated thus iPhone is simple.

Android is complicated?.. NOooo way, it's not android being complicated, its iOs being too simple... Without jalibreak, you cant do **** on your iPhone, while Android allows you do almost anything - customize your UI, install free apps and such without any additional help or third party programs... Ofc if you are a geek, you can root your phone, which isn't essential.

Custom roms are always an option though. Sony has been pretty up to standard with their Sony Ux.

It's depend upon your requirements and interest, if you are very social so it's better for you to buy Samsung galaxy models and if you are prefer to be professional and classy so it's better to go for iPhone.
