This question is very familiar to Filipinos out there. Well, meryenda came from the Spanish which means to eat in the afternoon or also called as past-noon break. For me, my favorite is: Coffee (Kapeng Barako) and Pandesal (Filipino Bread).

So it's kind of an afternoon break, right ? I usually make myself a capuccino with cookies, or just a lot of M&M's.

Me too... :D it's a great "Meryenda" especially when topped with my mom's homemade gravy. YUM!
