Recently when I turned on my laptop, my avast antivirus detected a rootkit (here's what's a rootkit means http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rootkit)

Ok so I tried removing it with avast, it didn't work! I also tried Mcafee rootkit remover, but when ever I restart my pc avast detects it again.

anyone experienced that before ? I need a help on how to remove it.

Send it to a technician, it is the best way to fix it, sometimes google or youtube tutorials are fake, especially when it comes to installing stuff, bring it to your nearest store that sells pcs or laptops, they can fix it :)

Seriously? Don't do that, its piracy.

Just kidding, anyways it isn't always guaranteed that the file will be safe. Just get it fixed so a computer nerd.

I removed uttorent and it's files, I am downloading AVG instead of avast.
