Of course I tried searching a trinomial factoring calculator but they seem like they have problems. Btw I don't plan to study that factoring thing, the difficulty is 9/10.

Yus. Math is love, okay. :D If you want some online calculator or something, look for wolfram. But it'd be better if you learn it instead of being dependent on calculators. Use calculators for checking your answers only. :)

First, you must find the factors of the first.

(2x+__)(x+__)

Then, find the factor of the last.

(2x+5)(x+5)

Check if the factors will yield the given equation above.

That's the only thing I know.

its hard to explain. But basically its ax squared + bx +c.

For example, x squared + 4x - 32.

Solving it is pretty easy. You just need to find 2 numbers that add up to give the b value and these 2 numbers can multiply together to give the c value.

Eg. x squared + 4x - 32: the 2 numbers are -4 and 8

8 + (-4)=4

8 x (-4)=-32

Using these two numbers, put them into brackets like this (x-4)(x+8)

The whole thing is really easy and basic when a=1, but when a>1 or a<1 then it gets a bit more complicated.

This is the way I was taught. Sorry if its not that clear.
