Um, maybe a few critiques on players who know how to animate? Got into animation a few months ago, and if I have to say one thing about it, it's that animation. Takes. So. Long.

First animation, eh. (https://sta.sh/01yt9qrgeyj5)
Was testing out effects, ew. (https://sta.sh/08aow4sk1zl)
Tested out swords, was fairly happy with this. (http://sta.sh/0227ewyhtku1)
More swords, but with blood. I need to get better at blood. (http://sta.sh/010mzual6la4)
Physics test I guess? IDK how I feel about the landing. (http://sta.sh/025pf6kyw6qt)
Quick water test. Dunno. (https://sta.sh/05ak7he4js3)
Worst ending but I like the rest fairly okay. (https://sta.sh/02b1ftaasc76)

Only saw the first two. I like the effect of the punch. Is it supposed to have this delay when the guy was punched? It seemed kinda long for me.
That omg in the first animation, though. His body is longer than his legs hence the omg kick. :D Pretty nice and simple for your first. Might use in my siggy. Can't get over with the omg. :D
For the others, "This plug-in is not supported". :sweatdrop:

@Pretty, yes the delay is meant to be there, to show to force, I guess. Didn't really like the punch, though.

@atwistoffate and @Mahmoud, I used Macromedia Flash 8, look up tutorials for it.

How long did it take for you to make it this good?
What is the hardest part?

Hey !

I'm learning animation aswell, I started alone but I'm planning to make it my real job in the future by studying 2D/3D animation in a french school in Paris, glad to see that someone else is into this kind of stuff. I mainly use Blender and SFM so I'm not that experienced in those kind of 2D stickmen animations, but it looks good so far, especially the punch and the sword ones. Although what you did with the blood looks quite okay, it doesn't fit with the context, I mean it's not natural since a sword hit in a body wouldn't make these kinds of blood stains. It should come out both of the sword and the body, in my opinion.
I like those stickmen things in general, it always reminds me of those videos, can't remember the name but y'know it's quite famous with the "I like train" catchphrase. Keep up the good work anyway, learning animation takes a lot of time but it's totally worth it at the end.

Hey, thanks for the criticism, @Solsagann. Gonna try to get better at animating liquids in general, that includes blood. Actually working on something right now involving that last link to the kick, just to work on my easing there. Good luck with your 3D animation :P

@atwistoffate, animations like this are usually made frame by frame, so it takes time. Hardest part would be everything :3

I lol'd, this is the perfect answer when people ask me how difficult is animating
I'll probably give a try to your stickmen things, I like the minimalistic aspect, you can tell a lot with a very few details (which is nice because I'm also a lazy person). Actually after seeing your work I instantly thought about this http://9gag.com/gag/aDwNQnZ/bending-battle

Updated with 2 more animations, haven't been working on animating in general lately. Life is busy.

As expected from the Durt Master.

There's an application in the DS System where you can make animation, i made mine but not as smooth as yours. :(

I used to do stuff like that but it was all choppy because I didnt understand anatomy and how to do proper blood effects :sweatdrop:

those are some pretty fluid animations!
