View Full Version : Online polls

As you know, there are many different online polls about many different things. They sometimes end with odd results. One was over the name of a humpback whale. There were many good names on the poll, but the people who made the poll put the name Mr. Splashy Pants on the poll as a joke. Someone somehow evaded the vote one time only policy and voted over 100 times a minute for Mr. Splashy Pants using some type of auto voter. Even though they deducted the extra votes it went viral and Mr. Splashy Pants went from having 5% of the votes to 75% of the votes in one day. Another online poll with an odd result was a poll in Slovakia over the name of a bridge. The name Chuck Norris was on the poll and it won.

Don't believe this, look it up.

I want to know if you think that online polls give accurate results.
