Hi,

Anyone here has a raspberry pi? I have the B model, which I bought as soon as it came out.
Anyways, how do I get growtopia to work on that thing?

First you will want to install a Linux OS (Debian works really well) so that you can use Wine.

Then download wine from here: https://www.winehq.org/download/ (Use the for your version of Linux)

And download the Growtopia Installer for Windows from here: http://www.growtopiagame.com

Navigate to the installer, right-click it and press open with Wine Windows Program Loader and run it.

This will install it and then you can find Growtopia in the applications menu, in the options there is an option for touch controls as well!

YOU CAN'T RUN GROWTOPIA ON THAT THING

IT USES ARM PROCESSORS AND GROWTOPIA EXE FILES ARE COMPILED ON X86-64 PLATFORM

Wine doesnt work anymore on running growtopia i think. D0GE tried.

Again, these people probably don't understand the full specifications of the Pi.

I have one but I barely use it. It is the Model B+ but I want the newer one to work with.

I'm still waiting for improvements then I'll buy it.
Honestly, most people buy it just to look cool.
They won;t even utilize even a single GPIO pin lmao

ARM != x86

Conan, that's not true. I have this programmer called 'ExaGear desktop' which allows me to be able to simulate as if I had an Intel x86. And yes, it's the old B model. It's been crashing and randomly restarting lately. I use it as a Media Centre currently but I too am waiting for a new version to come out, so I can replace this one.

1. Install Linux
2. Get the ExaGear Desktop software
3. Install whine
4. Install growtopia!

Why would you want to run it on a Raspberry Pi anyway?
