Basically, I have trouble sleeping. My time is GT time, and right now it's 4 In the moring. I can never seem to sleep. I do all the things like drink milk and eat a banana or whatever but I still can't manage to sleep, and every night it gets worse. Any advise?

Do you lay on your bed all day?

No, I go to bet at like 4 and wake up around 9. I wake up horribly, and try to cover up the pain with coffee.

Read, play growtopia, I bike a lot also, then I usually go on the forums when I can't sleep. I do not spend most of my time in bed.

Oh yeah I fly model planes and drone. Lel I'm a nerd.

Oh okay. Well for starters do not touch your gadgets for 1 hour before you plan to sleep. Since the light from your gadgets makes you not sleep early.

Are you stressed out or something? Don't think about anything else, do you have records of insomnia?

Try taking a hot shower before you go to your bed. A hot shower mixed with a cold bed will make you drowsy.

I have anxiety and I get really stressed and nervous, it gives me these crazy head aches. I also am paranoid a bit.

If your bed hasn't been touched in a while than your bed will cool down a bit. But anyways, in Florida, does your house have an air conditioner or at least a fan? If it does, than the inside of your house will be cool and that does affect your bed.

Download blue light filter on your phone, that will help you from protecting your eyes and sleep better. Since most of the harm for your eyes is the blue light.

Easy, don't think. I think growtopia might be on your mind, or if it's something else, just clear out your mind when you sleep.

I feel you, I have the same problems. Just close your eyes and think about nothing, next thing you know, the reality will be vivid, as if you're awake but can't open your eyes nor understand what's going on. Then, if you continue that for another 30 seconds, you should be asleep.

I'll tell you the way I do it. Imagine this. Two people fighting that have the exact opposite powers (What I do is fire and ice). Although the weird thing is that they're almost the same. My example is the one that I use. Fire can melt ice but if ice is melted water comes out which stops fire. See the similarity? Both of them are immune to the other unless they both die. Just keep on imagining this until you get bored and lose consciousness. There's a downside though (Maybe it's just me?). Your dreams will be the exact same everyday. The dream is you, in the back seat of a car in an unending bridge. The bridge is over the water and is flooded with cars. None of the cars are turned on including yours. You take a few steps forward then the bridge collapses. After that a crate with a symbol that I can't really describe is on the back and hits your head. Then you wake up sweating and in an instant. Hope this helps.

One bottle of Vodka, and you will sleep like a baby!.. (or in that case, like a hobo?)

----

Okay, if you dont like Vodka... You cant try to close your eyes and imagine something that you like doing. For example, i like building / inidie - post apocalypse games, so whenever I cant sleep, I imagine building a base in a ruined world from scrap, or something like that. I know, may sound extremely stupid (as it is), but it actually helps. Just try not to miss the phase where your mind flows and you think weird stuff, and to check that you entered the phase try to remember what was your previous thought. Really, really helps. (sorry if it sounds like nonsense, but try to understand it)

Your brain associates things with where and how you do them. In the real world, beds are meant for sleep. Your brain doesnt know that. If you only use your bed for sleeping and naps, your brain pairs beds with sleeping, so when you get on a bed, your brain is always like, well, time to shut down for a bit, and usually you can sleep with ease. However, if you start doing other things on your bed alot, your brain with relate those things with the bed, instead of sleep, therefore making it harder to actually fall asleep because your brain is now not use to sleeping on a bed, but instead playing games or watching videos or eating or anything you do.

Get my point?

Dreams all completly built upon experience: what you did in the past, what you are doing now, your lifestyle and customs (and many more unmentioned things). What I am saying is that not everyone will have the same dream since everyone lives and thinks a bit differently.

Maybe a cause of your recurring nightmare is that you bore yourself to sleepevery night. Try to think about different things like: 'what would it be like to have millions of dollars' or 'What would it be like to be a king' or just think about absolutely nothing and go into a meditative state. A thing called ASMR, is making gentle and soft noises like soft tapping and whispering which gives you a calm mood and a sort of pleasant 'tingle'.

I never said that I bore myself to sleep but it could bore him to sleep. I find it quite fun to be honest since my name is Frost. I'm still looking for someone called blaze that would be my rival. I guess you're right about the first part though. I guess I didn't think it through. I don't want to dream about being a king because my goal when I grow up is rule the world. That would just mess up my plan. Yes, I have written my plan and I will not spoil it to everyone... Yet...

As PotatoMarco said, blue light affects sleep.

Also, I find myself falling asleep while deep in thought. Never stress yourself out before sleeping, either. That's really a given, but it's useful.

Studies show that people that have trouble sleeping have way more brain activity then those who fall asleep easy!

But the only way I know, is to get into your bed, couch etc, and watch some TV for a few hours. It will make you really drowsy! Be sure to be in a blanket as well.

Insomnia?
I have that so I know how you feel.
I always seem to fall asleep whilst watching a TV series, on the couch, lying down in a blanket.
