That's right folks, it's time to debate!

On this side of the ring, we have, HARD COPY!

Name: Hard Copy
He is flawless as his competitor, yet poses little threat!

PROS:

If rare, can keep and sell for more than what you bought it for!
Can be a keepsake!

CONS:

If disc/disk is damaged/scratched, it can end the life of your game!
You can lose the disc!
Disc can be damaged if console screws up!
(POSSIBLY and POTENTIALLY) Unreplaceable!

Here is Hard Copy's ruthless competitor, Digital Download!

Name: Digital Download
Can easily overpower opponents! This match is tough so far!

PROS:

Impossible to scratch and destroy!
Easier to purchase(e.g. Not having to go to the store)!

CONS:

Requires Internet to download!
Your console manufacturer can be hacked and have your credentials stolen!

Who will you root for?

Are we talking about games? If so I prefer digital but if we are talking about books I'd go with hard cover

I like them both. Which type I get depends on how I'm feeling that day.

Hard Copy because you can just sell it if it's not your taste. And it doesn't use Bandwidth so yey.

Then you have to install them everywhere besides your home PC/laptop.

laptop
thats the goddamn point

also steam is much more secure...

but books I prefer hard copy. I have an eBook but I never use it since I just read all the books that I've already read, just in different languages ;)

I like the hard copy so I have the actual game in physical existence.

My thoughts on digital:

Upside: You can play it right away as soon as you download it.

Downside: Waste of storage, not necessarily permanent, can't trade, borrow it, or resell it.

Depends what kind of game and system it's for.
PS3, hard copy for any game except Minecraft and other small games. (Got to save space...)

3DS Hard copy for games I play a lot, digital if I can't find it in stores.

PC: Isn't it all digital now?
