The reason schools don't teach this stuff is because schools are intended to set people up for failure. The governments don't want more successful people, that's why they don't teach you anything important.

Most of the math and science they teach you isn't needed in most people's lives, so most people forget it anyway. The only real reason is if you plan to become something that requires extensive medical, scientific, or mathematical knowledge, which most people don't.

This guy is making points. I'm one of those people that like math and science (yes, I know what you're wondering), but if I want to become someone that works as an engineer, I don't need to know about the Boston Tea Party and the freaking equation for how to make this substance.

You never use algebra in real life problems. If we are going to be forced to go to school, they should atleast teach us something that matters.
