Has anyone watched SAO? Then you know what I am talking about. Nervegear.
Just think of the gaming potential. And other potential๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜‹

Anyone else agree?

I don't think that you have watched sao..
I'm talking about a VR experience indistinguishable from real life.

It is the closest thing to a "VR experience."
Have you not seen Kirito put the thing on?

Imagine the possibilities if it was created.

It's not actually impossible. Once we completely understand the human brain, it probably won't be that hard. That'll take a while, tho.

I can't wait for the technology to come in the future. Today at school our teachers showed us a video about technology because we are a tech school. Here's the link it has some cool facts.

I don't know much about SAO but putting on a headset won't trick all of your senses. There was a book about a virtual reality where to fully be in the world you hooked your nervous system to a pod which would then simulate everything. Which is what I think would be the closest, but still a tad unrealistic.

If you want a more realistic virtual reality story you should read Ready Player One as much as you may hate reading in general. Meant for older teens but you'll probably grasp it fine.

It's not actually impossible. Once we completely understand the human brain, it probably won't be that hard. That'll take a while, tho.

Unfortunately completely understanding the human brain will make no difference in the risk of playing with it. Any other organ is alright because it's all one job easy going controlled by the brain, messing with the brains fluids and command is bad mojo, tricking it should only be done externally unless you want to roll the dice on a coma or stroke upon booting up a game.

Figuring out what there's left to learn and actually learning it is very difficult and has been taking generations with slow progress in comparison to what you're expecting.

Also keep in mind the brain is top mystery of the human body, if anyone were to know everything about it, there is much much more potential than virtual reality.
Determining the illusion of free will, learning AI, (upon AI that can learn, it could design improvements to itself faster than any man), and life created digitally.

Omni Virtuix paired with the Oculus Rift is probably the closest we have to that currently. Something like the nervegear would be really cool, but personally I would prefer if you could move in real life simultaneously, so you would be burning some extra calories. hehe

Including getting stuck in SAO for 2 years potentially? Nah I'm happy with my life man.
