Since square root of 144 is 12, 196 should be 13.

Zero. The copycats copied the copycat that fell off.

No it's 14. See the last digit of the number; 196. Now see the last digit of the other number; 13. Since its square root, so 3 x 3 = 9! (We got the 3 from the last digit of no. 13)
The answer 9 doesn't matches the last digit of the number; 196. So.. 14! (Cause 4 x 4 = 16)

Here Is My Part Of My Math HomeWork (math 8):

3. Simplify each expression shown. (no solving for x)

a. 14 + 3y2 + 30y − 3y2 − 14y − 14 − 16y b. −10x + 13y − 6x + 5y2 + 10y − 5y2

c. −3(5x + 1) – 4 d. 6x − 2(−5x + 1) e. −5x + 7(x − 1)

6. Solve each equation. (fractions are ok!)

a. 3x − 6 + 1 = − 2x − 5 + 5x b. −2x − 5 = 2 − 4x − (x − 1) c. 4(q − 8) = 7q + 5

d. 3(2x + 4) = 2 + 6x + 10 e. x + 4x = 2(3x − 6) + x f. −2 + 2x = −x + 2 + x

Wouldn't the answer be unlimited times because you're not taking two eggs away from the amount of eggs you just took away from, right?

Find the volume of this sphere I don't have a picture of.

d = 9.32
The volume is 3/4 x 3.14 x r2

--> 3/4 . 3.14 . 4.66
--> 10.97
--> 11 (rounded it)

|ThyLuigi|
11-06-2015, 08:15 AM

Nah, the formula is ((pi*r²*h)/3)*2

Turn 0.78 (with .78 repeating over and over, like .78787878787878787878...) into a fraction. No need to simplify nor round it.

I opened my book again and it's 4/3 x pi x r3

I forgot the formula. Lmao

What's the most abundant element in the universe?
How many valence electrons are in strontium? (No cheating btw)
Which element's salts make fireworks red?
What is the first element in the actininide series on the periodic table?

Answer is 14.

Is it 1x or x1?

Whenever there is a one, just simply write the variable, so just put x. And the number comes before the variable in other cases.

Here are some math questions to keep you busy. (https://ca.ixl.com/math/grade-12)
