Guys, I really need your help. I found a newborn kitten abandoned by the mother in my garage. I tried to take care of it but my parents didn't let me, instead they scolded me. Placenta's still attached, what can I do? Do I let it be laying there hoping its mother would come and get it? Thanks in advance

Call the vet or a humane society or something and quick.

There is no vet around here! If there were, it's still closed

I'm not sure... I would maybe even call 911. I don't think there's much you can do about a newborn kitten.

There's no such thing as emergency number here in Indonesia

Will do, though I haven't found any tips regarding kitten with placenta attached. Thanks, mate :hat:

Have you tried cooking it and eating it? Newborn kittens taste delicious

Cut off the placenta near the stomach. It has no nerve endings so it shouldnt hurt. If you have a group that helps stray animals find shelter, give it in. If not try to make it as comfy as possible for the kitten.

-Find a warm thing it can sleep in and it wont get infected.
-Water
-Food
-Go out and play with it.
-Tell a vet when they are open
-Try to find a owner for it.

Its freezing cold outside, try a way to take care of the little guy.

PS, your parents are monsters.

Indicative

By the way, I managed to succesfully get the kitten to sleep. Whoops, kittens (Yea I found 2, the other one's placenta is already cut off, though)
I'm trying to figure out what food for them to eat. Some sites say feed 'em with water used to cook rice.

UPDATE : Pet stores and vets are open, kittens are sleeping nicely. My parents don't allow me to bring them to the vet, even to just buy milk. They said "It's enough, let's just wait maybe their mother would come."

Is this ok? Do I need to do other stuff like feed them or give them milk?

Unluckiest
