I like rap.
I like 90's stuff mostly, Wu Tang, Inspectah Deck, GZA, Method Man, GraveDiggaz, ODB, NB better than 2Pac, NWA, Eazy-E, Nas, Nate Dogg. Public Enemy is by far my favourite, along with the first Run-D.M.C. albums. I'm also a big fan of Eminem, Yelawolf and Lamar. I listen to a bunch of French rappers too but you probably never heard about them. I listen to every single kind of music actually.

Well, I guess I should substantiate my preference in hip-hop.

These Walls:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=drV0QatqbRU
People are still perplexed on what walls Kendrick is talking about here.

Swimming Pools:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=B5YNiCfWC3A
A song about dissuading the abuse of alcohol being misinterpreted in the mainstream publicity — what else is new?

Mortal Man:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=kmfWA3SdNpA
This just kind of blows me away still…

Power Trip:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7AjD7nKiUQ4
A hit that was actually brilliantly constructed summarizes this song. Not too much lyricism though.

03 Adolescence:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tweHIQa1kIA
Because track nine from Born Sinner has a no-no word in the title…

One Man Can Change The World:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=GBVotNefYME
Really I just like the piano in this one.

NWA was good while it lasted.

Eminem is good. Maybe Drake as Well.

Everyone else is just the same... Money, women, etc. You know what I'm talking about.

Drake is AMAZING.

Kendrick is a lyrical genius in this song.

I've really only heard MGK in "Mind of a Stoner" with Wiz Khalifa. It has a good beat, but the lyrics bother me so I really haven't listened to both artists, but I'll look.

His recent album came out in October. I'm listening to it right now. It's called General Admission. You should really listen to it.
