Do you respect people more for having an older join date?
Do you respect people less for having new join dates?
Perhaps it's the other way around?
Do you not care?
Or do you have a different viewpoint on join dates?

Personally I tend to favor those with at least a few years under their belts, but I've found myself enjoying posts from some who've joined in 2015, and I've disliked a couple people from 2013-2014.

I don't mind. I respect the people not their join dates

Join date basically summarizes what type of forumer someone is. That and post count. Repudiate it as one wants, there is a trend.

join date is join date I respect people because of their act of maturity and how friendly they are within threads

It all depends on the person really. There are some '13-'14 players that I can say I don't really like all too much even though they've had some experience here; and there are some '15 players I really like despite their newer join date.

people from 2013 dont deserve recognition as much more as anyone else, everyone is equal until they prove themselves

What makes me mad is when someone judges a person based on their post count. They why people spam now.

1. No. I respect everyone including my haters.
2. No. ^

5. They're just 3 letters and 4 numbers so does it matter?

IMO I've seen some forumers being huge hypocrites (you know yourselves). You see, they say that "2013 players are so damn cool and 2015 players are all spammers and jerks who should be eliminated from the forum" while they don't look at themselves. Not all of the forumers that say so are actually jerks though. I dislike people who generalise, to simply put.

I'd usually see anyone from last year and the current year as inexperienced. They'll learn eventually though, which is kind of nice.

From an outsider's perspective:

High post count + early join date = respected forumer

Low post count + early join date = not very well-known forumer, but [blindly] trusted

High post count + late join date = spammer

Low post count + late join date = nobody you need to remember

Although there are exceptions, this is pretty much the truth.

Noooo I was about to post that.

I don't really care about join dates, the important things are the quality of the posts and the attitude.

Well it does give a nice impression of the person. Although it sometimes gives a false impression for the people that joined the forums earlier than what there join date says like me.

It doesn't really matter,it's just showing you want to support and talk to others on growtopia forums.

I really respect everyone here. But i do most respect the people who stayed longer here.

Since they know what is already going on from the beginning and now in the Growtopian World. :hat:

I only look at the date when the user has above 5000 posts.
