I have an infraction and it doesn't say it has expired
what does it mean

You won't lose points - which is actually a bad thing.

Sample scenario 1:

You have a permanent infraction with 2 points. You're prone to being banned if you get another infraction worth one point. (That is if 3 points leads to a ban. I forgot.)
