Prepare to visit relatives' houses, have reunion dinner, and stay up late! (Only applies to the Chinese)
For the rest of you, just relax and have fun!
Here's what I always do during CNY Eve:
- Visit the uncle's house and have reunion dinner in the afternoon.
- Mum always watches CCTV (Chinese TV network) on the Mio TV due to the free preview.
She always watch the CNY Countdown on that channel though.
- Mediacorp Channel 8 & U always show CNY specials from the previous year every CNY Eve. This year is tha same.
- Insert others here.
Regardless whether you are a Chinese or not, what are you planning to do, or what you always do every CNY Eve?
From me, 新年快乐, 万事如意, and a Year of the Monkey!

It's lunar new year not new year. The Indians have new year in October.

if you are talking about deepavali, no it is not the Indians' new year, it roughly translates to festival of light, and no, hari raya is not the Malays' new year.

I am looking forward to have my CNY eve dinner soon, probably in an hour. Dad's busy. D:

After that I'll just cuddle up my sofa (in the hotel) and play GT while counting down seconds 'till CNY alone in the corner of the room.
