I work part time, so I earn my own money. But answering to your question, I get probably a hundred bucks anytime just by asking my parents, but I rather earn my own.

I'm not expected to do chores but I do help around- I have the same option as ya. Ask for the amount you need.

Nothing much year round, unless taxes just happened, then I usually get more than 50 bucks. Apart from that, I get 1-5 bucks whenever my father remembers our weekly allowance.

Bucks = Dollars.

As a kid, allowance was never a thing, but I have a part-time job, getting paid minimum wage is always spiff and dandy, unless I get bad hours.

It's still pretty much better than working a full shift at mcdonalds like you do- just hoping you'll get a chance for $15/hour. Gg mate.

I teach my friends biology, since it's my favourite lesson, pretty much one of the thing I'm best at, and I get about 500 dollars a month, only by teaching my friends twice a week, EZ cash. I just hate asking money from my parents, it's not like my parents is poor or smh, I just feel bad putting on more stress on them, why not make your own money, and save up for the future? I'm only 11 and I have about 2500 dollars from my hard work, I'm pretty busy doing homeworks, etc so sometimes I teach my friends for free, sometimes they don't pay, sometimes they got under 85 and stuff. For chores, I do them daily without payment, it's our house, we gotta take care of it, ay?
