ive always wondered why nightcore was a genre.

Its basically a hip-hop song sped up to make it sound like an underaged little kid playing CSGO and hes winning 16-0.

Because some people find it good. Also, it doesn't only apply to hip-hop songs.

Nightcore is playing a game with the difficulty all the way up at night.

Because it sounds "good" to some anime lovers who love highly pitched voice. Not my favorite genre though.

Eh, not my favorite but I can't judge. I love slowed down EDM/trap, so essentially the opposite of nightcore.

it's not all about the hip hop,

it's with the speed up, high voices, that's right.

in these days every music category has like a nightcore or a ''kid version'' (which looks similar to nightcore)

like Amy Lee is a (rock) music genre

and Adele is a (soul) genre

even if you type a song and behind that, ''nightcore'' or ''kid version'' you will find them ;)
which some of them sounds nice

I used to really love Nightcore. Questioning why. It's good sometimes, but only on a couple of songs.
I guess people considered a genre because of how frequently it was used and how it worked in a way where people would be interested for more? Not sure it's even considered a genre.
