are there any risks with having a paypal account

i saw a thread b4 by a fellow forumasaur about a phising email

oh don't worry they'll just freeze your account and won't let you withdraw your money every once in a while

If you're new to paypal, and you have hundreds of dollars entering and withdrawing from your account, there is a high chance of it getting limited. Also, if you were to sell something through Goods and Services, there will be a fee charged to you. (Yep it sucks). If you're selling things to someone you know, ask for their ID and ask them to send the $ through Family and Friends. Take pictures of proof that you delivered the goods. Also, keep the picture of their IDs, in case they chargeback on grounds that their paypal got stolen. That way, you can prove that the person did not get his paypal stolen, and that he did the transaction with his knowledge.

Also to prevent phishing email, look closely at the email. My case was one where i was negligent, did not see that it was a link to a bogus website.
PS: Phishing emails can happen almost everywhere. Look carefully at the email before actually clicking on links etc.

If he is creditable enough, he should be honest enough not to chargeback on you,
