I know to you they are childish, but I would prefer a lifetime supply of big lego sets over a lifetime supply of iPhones. Well, if you like them, here are pictures of my "little" town.

Took me years of collecting to get this many. There are 3 trains, 3 modular (Very advanced) buildings, and a bunch of other sets to make it look nice!

How long did it take to make everything on there?

TheArctic

It used to look like a figure eight. Got too complicated.

Wow

Well, um... 1-2 days each for the modular buildings, the car garage, trains, and everything else, less than a day. So, maybe all of the building adds up to...... 10 days?

Usually when I build, I sit alone in the basement on my computer desk, not eating anything, and just build. lol its totally worth it in the end though. I also built a lego Technic Mercedes truck that took me 3 days. For one day, all I had was a smoothie king smoothie and a sandwich.

Efforts is totally worth it
I would at least bring something to snack on before working on it
Nothing that brings too many crumbs though:P

These three creatons I am the most proud of. They sit separate from the rest of the town on the upper level.
KEY: Left: F1 lego technic, Right bottom: Mercedes Truck, Right top (Car being carried): Limited edition Mini Cooper

I respect your dedication to your town:cool:
Maybe someday you could build something bigger than a town made of Legos.

Hmmm, maybe I will watch a movie at the movie theater, eat blocky turkey at the restaurant, and sleep in the red house from the top picture.

I used to be addicted to building legos. I spent over 500$ on them. I once built a Star Wars set with over 2000 peices.

My dream is to become a professional lego builder. Ex: Lego set tester, build structures for legoland. Come up with new sets. I would love to have that job. Lots of my friends make fun of me for playing with a "childish toy", but the sets I make are for 16+...

I think overall, there is more than $1000 dollars in legos here. Well the modular buildings are 150 each, so thats 450 alone. Then the parking garage is 100, 550. Two trains are 200, one is 150. So, thats $1100, and I haven't even counted my lego technics and small lego sets. So I'd estimate around $1500. Yes I like them that much. But, I did not spend money on most of these. They were Christmas/birthday/Hanukkah presents. My parents are divorced, so I get double presents. gg to me.

Yea. All I do is build the legos, and watch the trains go around the city. It's like a scene. The trains are R/C, so they are easy to move.

My friend's brother got legos for his birthday. BUt they sat there for like 3 months without being built because they didn't know how to build them.
I finished the lego set in five minutes without any failures while they took over 3 months to find one peice :v

Don't don't got a age limit. So, it's not childish. I still play LEGO'S and I create my own buildings. I enjoy playing Lego more than playing any type of video game. I am really jealous of the city which you have made. In my country, Lego's are super expensive. So, I can't buy a lot of lego set or bricks.
