I'm in 8th grade going to 9th.

I liked The Giver and The Book Thief.

Any other good books?

Oh, books. I don't read very many of them. I liked "To Kill a Mockingbird" when I had to read it for school. You should check it out.

The last book I've read was The Summoner: The Novice by Taran Matharu. The second book in the series is coming out in a few days. If you're into a really interesting perception of magic, demons, and summoning, I recommend this one a lot.

<I see a theme of books from English and Literature classes . Try Tree Girl, pretty good.>

The Ascendance Trilogy (The False Prince, The Runaway King, The Shadow Throne)

honestly lotf has so much meaning if you read between the lines, and it is essentially about the inherent savagery man has in their heart. the island and whatever happens in there is like a microcosm, mirroring the real world.
