We'll my mom found this wird thingy on her door step eanyone know what it is?

It appears to be a newt. Kinda hard to see with those pics. Try small insects.

Thx I'll try it but is the habitat with a bit of water ok for it?

Should be fine. I don't know much about amphibians (I prefer snakes), but a small pool of water or a large water bowl for a python should do fine. Make sure he has a nice area of dry land, too. Misting him might help, as well.

It looks scary... I cant even look at the pictures. I dont really understand what that thingy is there..!! Anyway..on what I see I believe is a CREATURE...that came to EAT YOU!! (Lol)

I wouldn't try misting it I dont think it will help it and thats is a tree newt

Reminding me of a show called cat scratch i watched when i was younger. One of the cats was obsessed with newts.
