I hope after this people can stop posting threads about how they don't know what button does what. Anyway..

This is a thread about the buttons above the text box. So, uh, yeah. (It's listed in order from left to right, top row to bottom, by the way.)

Buttons

21398The first button with A/A on the top left changes the normal text box into the WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) format and vice versa.

21399The button next to that with a red X over two A's undoes whatever you did (underline, bold, etc.) when you highlight something and press it.

21400The button that says Font (obviously) has various fonts, shown when you click on it.

21401The same goes for the button with Size, except with different text sizes.

21402The button next to Size with the A shows you colors of the text. It will give you various colors, and more if you click More Colors.

21403The button with the smiley face gives you the emoticons, which are also located on the right of the text box.

21404The button that has a paper clip with paper on it lets you manage your attachments.

21405The button with the blue arrow facing left undoes whatever you did last, while the button next to that with the blue arrow facing right redoes whatever you undid.

21406In the next row, there is the button with the B. That makes your text bold.

21407Next, the button with the slanted I makes your text italicized.

21408The button next to that with the underlined U makes your text underlined.

21412The button next to that aligns your text to the left (the way it is usually is), and the button next to that centers your text, while the button next to that aligns your text to the right.

21413The button with the numbers 123 either inserts a numbered list, or ends it if you press it while you already had it pressed.

21414The button with the bullets either inserts a bulleted list, or ends it if you press it while you already had it pressed.

21415The button next to that with the blue arrow facing left with lines behind it decreases an indent, and the button next to that with a blue arrow facing right with lines behind it increases your indent.

21416The button with the picture of an earth with a chain below it lets you insert a link.

21417The button next to it with the picture of an earth with a crossed out chain below it unlinks a link if you highlight a link while pressing it.

21418The button with a picture of a tree inside a square lets you insert images (either from URL or device).

21419The button next to that with the video clip lets you insert video clips (from URL).

21420The button with the text inside the speech bubble gives you
and you can type text inside it.

21421The button with # lets you wrap code tags around the selected text.

21422The button with <> lets you wrap HTML tags around the selected text.

21423The button with a paper with the letters PHP lets you wrap PHP tags around the selected text.

21424The button in the third row with something that looks like a table gives you a table. (Not an actual table, but a graph, chart, whatever.) Not many people use it.

21425The button next to that with the setting icons near the table lets you edit the properties of the table.

21426The button next to that with the no entry sign (red circle with white bar) near the table lets you delete the table (if you currently have one).

The next 6 buttons; you don't have to worry about as you're probably not going to use them.

21427After the 6 buttons that have been skipped, there is a button with X2. That gives you a subscript.

21428Next to that, there is a button with X2. That gives you a superscript.

21429Finally, the button with the blue bar below lines inserts a horizontal line. Example:

* Images of buttons are included, and text describing the image of the buttons are in bold.

Note: This is just a brief introduction of the buttons.

Yeah.. so.. yeah.

Great guide Minha! I was a little confused at first about those buttons. I think this thread should be stickied.

A clickable thing.
